First, soda glass is cost-effective. If you do not need to worry about the environment or temperature, choose soda glass, which is easy to make and low in cost. For example, if you are in an environment where there are sudden temperature changes above 80 degrees or in a consistently humid environment, it is better to choose borosilicate glass, even if it is somewhat more expensive. If you need to use glass in an environment exceeding 500 degrees, which borosilicate glass cannot withstand, then opt for aluminosilicate glass.
